Is there any differences in secondary helix between my 400ho and a 500ho of the same year? I have the chance to score a clutch kit from a 500ho on a sweet deal.

 

Not sure but go on the Polaris website and you can look up the part #'s.

 

Two different rear clutches used on the 500 in 2012 and 2013 models. One is completely different than yours and the one that is similar has a different part number on the helix. Your helix is the push on type held by a snap ring. The ones on the 500 has a push on type helix(like yours) and a helix that has four screws holding it. If you're able to see what the helix in the kit looks like.
