repaired frame
#1
so I welded the holes in my frame, I mig welded it and filled up the holes(had about 3 decent size ones as big as a penny almost, and some pin points), I didnt use patches or plates of metal(couldnt), i went around the edges of the holes and melted them back till I got to good material that didnt have rot and started filling up the hole, layed some hard welds down, puddled the weld probably about quarter of a inch down in the frame so it would be a strong fuse, grinded it down to make sure i filled everything and done
anyone ever done this type of repair? should it hold up?
Just threw a few layers of POR 15 on it and gonna undercoat the frame to avoid further rot.

Should be good on the outside to repair the rust. Biggest thing is to make sure you get something on the inside of the frame where you welded because you have open metal in there now after you welded it. Either spray por 15 into the tubes to coat everything or buy a sprayable rustproofing at your local parts store.
