Default Scrambler transmissions

I have recently gernaded the tranny in my son's 04 Scrambler 500 4x4. The part # on the transmission is 1341382. Found a used transmission from a 400 4x4 PN-1341380.

question is, will this work? And what is the difference between the 2 transmissions.

ill add I have found a 1341382 but for +50% $

Thanks

Mounting points may be different, both have prop shafts to the front gear case. All anyone could say is look over the used one and see. Plenty of people have stuffed in gear cases from other machines, but may take some work on the mounts or it possibly may drop right in. Just look close at this used #1341380 and see if it looks enough like yours to take a chance.

Biggest dif is they are gear dif. They will interchange and work may loose some top end from one to the other
