Anyone know a source for a new seat for a 2006 polaris hawkeye 4x4? I need to replace the whole seat as its cracked and warped. Everything I can find is $300-400 and thats crazy high to me.

 

That's about average on a new complete seat assembly. If you just needed the cover,it's fairly reasonable.Several online sites the seat assembly is nla.

 

Try searching on eBay for a couple weeks. Have got like new parts over the years off eBay. No guarantee, but better prices. Amazon might be worth a shot

 

Curious what the dealer gets for a new one. I've put covers on a few Polaris Sportsmen, but the base and the foam was serviceable. They were more of a pita than my AC's, as they have quite a lot of banana shape.

 

Like lonwolph mentioned around 400 bucks if you can find a new one. I've bought a few oem parts from rocky mountain atv. They're usually slightly cheaper than buying from a dealer.

 

So a sportsman 400 seat will fit a hawkeye??

 

Sportsman 300 for sure as it was just a Hawkeye with a different body. Early Sportsman 400s were with the Fugi 400 engine mated to a Hawkeye gear case and frame. Seat appears to look the same. The 2006 Hawkeye 4X4 seat appears to only be $132? Am I looking at this right? Could you guys verify for me before I order this? I'm guessing the white decal/gold decal part is just referring to the lettering on the seat?
