Default Tips on greasing upper A-Arms 850 XP

Hi,
Just giving my ATV a once over for this spring's riding and of course greasing all the lubrication points.

Anyone have a suggestion as to how to reach the zerks on the upper a-arms in the front? It appears that the easiest would be to have a solid pipe on the grease gun rather than a hose and then reach in and grease the opposite side and then move around to do the other side in the same manner.

Driving me crazy trying to reach up to get these 4 upper nipples.

Thanx

I just used a flex hose on my hydraulic grease gun. Some were hard to get to,but can't remember any fitting I couldn't grease.

On my 08 I had previously you could reach across from the opposite side fairly easily to get to the a-arms but there is so much stiff in between plus the arms have flares at each end where the bushings mount that there is not much room to get in with my hands and pushing the flex hose is like pushing a rope, lol.

They are a pain but can get at them from opposite side. Try a needle attachment on your grease gun if you can't get the regular fitting on.

I will get my riding buddy over within the next little while and give it another go with an extra set of hands. At least the uppers don't get in the water and don't need the frequent greasing I give the lowers.
