07 sportsman 500 +2 oil level rising after changing oil and filter checking it next day it's 1/2 inch higher

 

To accurately test the oil level the machine has to be warmed up and then let sit for a minute or so then check the oil level. If the level is still high or smells like gas,you may need the computer reflashed. Plus some people forget about draining the engine sump that holds about 8 ounces.
