Well it turned out to be the Nut!!!
yes hello to all, it turned out to be the nut that came off of the impeller on the water pump. and since it was not tighten on to the shaft it wore out the inner diameter so now it is oblong. u see the reason why i believe the nut came off is that i had to re-tap the threads on balancer, and i did not put any washers on it, I know rookie mistake. i have a few questions for OPT or any one else who knows. which way does the anti freeze flow on a 95 scrambler 400 4x4, is the line that comes out of the cylinder head to the top of the radiator is it a to or from line, the reason why i ask is because i bought a in line water pump and am just thinking about hooking that up and leaving the impeller off because i really do not want to have to break the engine down again just to get to the balancer and have to replace the entire thing, although i have ordered a new impeller so fingers crossed on whether or not the new impeller will work, and this time i will make sure to put the proper washers on it, most importantly the lock washer. What do u guys think will the inline water pump be sufficient. The specs are these Rated voltage: DC12V or 24V(Can't more than 24V), No Load Current Rating: 0.5A or less, Hmax:150-500cmQmax:350-700L max temp 220 F Max Water Head: 3 meters(9.8ft)

You'd have to rig it to the small hose or make a new hose going into the engine.Hose #25 would be eliminated. OR you could use the #25 hose and have it going into the engine. Both in and out nipple from the original water pump would be blank.Top of the head is the return hose(15) to the radiator. Always bleed the screw on the top of the head when you add coolant. Hope it works..
