Have an 2009 500 sportsman carb model..Fresh carb cleaned and flushed and drained tank,check compression,New oem fuel pump.Hard to start and low fuel pressure and can ride 3/4 throttle an runs out of fuel,removed tank and check line inside of tank an all good,run without fuel cap no change,can blow in tank vent an will crank but still runs out of fuel from pump.I can run remote tank straight to carb an runs great also when run remote tank to carb while running fuel is barely running out of fump,has new vaccum line from intake to pump with good pulse? Im not sure if bad design fuel or what.Lets hear from yal here.Thanks in advance

 

Could be a faulty pump plus don't over look a stopped up fuel valve itself. Have found several that would have weak fuel supply in the on position but have better fuel flow in reserve position.

 

Thanks OPT.I have checked fuel value this model only has inline cutoff value up front under headlight and under center cowl,I called polaris to do an warranty job on fuel pump I hope this will fix the problem if not I may go to electical pump but not sure yet.Thanks again..I will give update when I get one.
