Default Polaris error code 47???

Can someone help me here?

Getting error code 47 (IAC open load-IAC short to ground). So far I have taken off the stepper motor cleaned and tested it all looks to be ok and reading what it should. Took off the ECU and checked for continuity to the 4 wires going to it and all is good. There are two wires going to the "High side driver" but I'm not sure what/where that is. Also tested the battery and it is reading 12.30. I'm not sure what else to do at this point so I was wondering if someone could help?

Bike is a 2007, 500 X2 EFI

85% of efi problems are wiring/connector related, not so much the sensors themselves. Better harness repair kits are out there.https://otbpowersports.com/product/i...epair-harness/ Plus charge you're battery and have it load tested. At 12.3 volts you about 60% charged.Look at this section on batteries and how to test them.https://www.batterystuff.com/blog/ho...ry-is-bad.html

So... I replaced the connecter for the stepper motor and ran the tests the manual suggested and everything is testing as it should. Disconnected the battery, hooked it back up and still getting error code 47. Anything else I can do/try or just bring the bike in to the dealership?

On your earlier post about battery voltage being 12.30 volts.Did you fully charge and load test the battery? If not and the battery is only holding this voltage that could be a cause of the problem also.If you've eliminated the battery as a problem, ran the tests the manual calls for then I would let Digital Wrench have ago at it.Again it could be a simple wiring problem.

State of Charge Voltage
100% 12.7 - 13.2
75% 12.4
50% 12.2
25% 12.0
Discharged 0 - 11.9

I charged the battery and it is at 13.20 and 11.2 when starting (under load). I guess with all the starting the bike and not driving the battery went down a little.

I made an appointment at my local Polaris shop for them to plug it in and see what's up. I will let you know how I make out next week. Thanks for the help thus far.
