pipes

I have a 99 Scrambler 400 with an RCR midrange pipe and silencer. The pipe and silencer went on without any problems and the fit was excellent. The silencer is connected to the pipe with a clamp. Rick used to use hose clamps but I believe he has switched to the clamp he provided me which is much stronger and holds tighter. I have no complaints with the pipe or silencer whatsoever. The performance has been excellent and the setup sounds great.

The power is great-very comparable to HPD as far as power.
Yeah, springs are better then clamps. My pipe seems to be staying in place good. I used lock nuts to hold everything in place. I also put the silencer clamo in the back notch on my Scrambler frame. No rattles now!

does the pipe hit the frame anywhere?
i tried a fmf and thi pipe hit the frame by the shifter and hit the recoil starter housing so i returned it> i wanna know if rcr is any better fit.
does it use the stock headpipe that is about 4** long? or is all 1 piece?
alos i would like to see a pic of one on a sport 400
