Default 2017 sportsman 570 utility first 50 miles

Just drove my 2017 sportsman 570 utility on trail ride. First the top of the brake fluid reservoir came loose and fluid all over the BIKE and me. Got it tighten on the trail yes you can force a Phillips screwdriver to tighten a torex screw on the trail! Second and most alarming on hard acceleration it gets twitche, ya handle bar going left righ, while trying to go straight. If I slow down and start over it settles down and is ok all the way up to top speed of 54mph. Other than that it handles great and takes curves flat! Any thoughts on the steering problem, EPS lagging?

50 miles? I'd let the dealer take care of it. You can if you wish check the connectors and use a little electrical grease. Beyond that I wouldn't do anything else.

On the twitchiness, did you have it in awd? Also was the driving surface smooth? Only thine mine has done that was when I was accelerating hard on a bumpy dirt road. I believe it was from the awd engaging and the front tires hitting bumps and gaining traction separately.

P.S. I had the AWD switch turned on.

54 mph is way too slow for the top speed too. It should top out at around 65 mph.

They have rev limiters, so 54-56 sounds right.

I can hit 67 on asphalt road, and around 62 on a straight dirt road.

Yes, but the utility Sportsmans are geared lower for work applications. So he cant expect the same top speed as the regular Sportsmans.

Thanks for the heads up on the utility edition, you are correct. Specs state ( work specific lower gear ratio). So top speed will be less that mine. Thank you for the polite correction.
