Hello everyone I am new to this forum and asking for your help.
I recently pulled my 2002 Polaris Trail Boss 325 out of storage after sitting for about 5 years. I put fresh gas in it and it starts right up but but only runs for about 10 seconds. After that it won't start unless you let it sit for about 5 minutes then it will start right up again then stall. It will also start and run for a few seconds if you put gas or starting fluid in the carb. I blew compressed air through the gas lines already and they are clear to my knowledge. My last thought is the fuel pump which I will buy soon. Any other suggestions?
Thanks.

After sitting 5 years.. I'd check the fuel pump flow first as you mentioned. Pull the fuel line off the carb then crank the engine over. Should have a steady stream of fuel if the pump is ok. Still probably won't run until you go through the carb. If you have to do that, install a kit and make sure all passage ways are blown out. This kit fits Magnum and Trail Boss.https://www.ebay.com/itm/Shindy-Carb...BYXETe&vxp=mtr If you need help with this Mikuni cv carb, here's the fuel section from the manual.https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...U2gGlaHJWSIlbA
