Goin to the Silver Lake Sand Dunes Saturday and was just wondering what the entrance fee was and what the proceedure was to get in. I heard that you can take a ticket the day before and get in earlier, or something like that. Can anyone give me a little info on this? Thanks.

 

$4.00 dollars to get in if you need a registration for michigan thats $16.00 the regulation flag if you don't have one is also $16.00 it's worth every cent a total blast

 

HELL YES! TOO MUCH FUN!
Its like the Badlands sand portion in the middle except way bigger in area and hill size. Had a total blast. Wasn't that busy at all yet. We had no trouble gettin in and the sand was good and wet from the rain Sat morning. It was realy windy and every time you came back through for another round the hills would change just enough on top (From the sand blowing over them and fallin on the other side making them realy steep on top) to be like a whole new ride. Before i go back i need a couple mods though. Had a Quadracer 250 in the group that was just a tic faster. But he also spent a good part of the day working on his machine. Sheered 2 crank keys and plastic removal after his wife tried to run over him on her 500 Scrambler. The Quadracer took all the damage. The only thing that happeded to the Polaris was a little oil loss while it was upside down. We also had a Quadzilla with us that couldn't make one round without havin to get towed back by his girlfriend on her 500 Scrambler.
