4wd reverse

Check that you have voltage on the power wire at the front diff while in reverse with the over ride button pushed in.Extra pair of hands help on this. If you have power, tie into the ground wire and run the wire to a better frame ground. See if the awd then kicks in while in reverse. If it doesn't then you may have a problem in the plastic roll cage that many had problems with. Also with the key off the diff connector should show around 24 ohms on the brown/whire and brown wires. If out of spec the coil plate could be the problem. The manual has other tests as the awd ground still goes through the speedo I believe. It can help you narrow it down to either a wiring problem, problem in the speedo or in the front diff itself.http://polaris-atv.brssm.com/2012-Po...ce-Manual.html

Yes keep us updated as this is when they changed the brown/white wire as the power wire when all the previous models had the brown/white as the ground wire for the awd system. This screwed me up when I looked at the the wiring schematic with another poster. Never had a chance to work on the 2012 and later models as the 2011s were the last ones I touched before I retired.
