I need a quad for my wife and I do not know if she'd be able to steer Magnum 325 in very narrow and difficult terrain. I am not sure how a limited slip on Kawi works. She has dificulties to steer my SP500. Her current quad is TB 325 and she gets stuck all the time. I only have this weekend to decide...Please help.
Kawi 300 and Magnum 325 for a same price...what is your opinion?..Thanks.

i would stick with the 325 mag because your wife is all ready used to the brakes and the auto tranny and the engine. my girl friend has no problem handeling mine when she goes rideing through the training trails my friend and i have made, they consist of tight wood trials with small downed trees (8 INCH AND SMALLER)across the trail in diffent parts of the trail,a couple of small rocky holes about 5 feet deep and ten feet wide and my favorite part(hehe)the mud trench( 6ft wide 4 ft deep and 60 ft long with a foot of mud and water in it). you can also put a winch on it too . i hope this has helped you a little on your choice.

The 01 models have improved steering. Takes quite a bit less effort than the older machines did of the same models. I know somebody that went from a 00 325 Mag 2x4 to a 01 325 Mag 4x4, and swears the 01 steers easier, even with the extra weight of the 4x4 system in front.

I would go with the prairie, the magnum is overweight and underpowered.

I have driven the 2x4 versions of these machines, 2000 models they are very similiar is all aspects, they weight the same, the 4x4 system of the Magnum is way better than the 4x4 system of the kawasaki. I know I have only driven the 2x4's but Polaris 4x4 is better than any of the competitors. Friends Praire had belt trouble it costs over 100 dollars for the belt and it needs a dealer visit, cost him 500 dollars before it was all done. Scotts Mag 325 has never missed a beat and he rides it very hard. Go with the Magnum, it will ride better and has the same ammount of power, but will go through more due to the superior 4x4 system.
