how does the front of the hpd pipe mount to the frame? on Zorros website on his scrambler it dont look like its attached?

I can't speak on the 400's, but on the 250's it doesn't mount to the frame anywhere. The pipe attaches to the manifold with springs and the silencer is bolted to the frame and attaches to the rear of the pipe with springs. I would guess it's the same setup on the 400's.

Exactly, the pipe is held to the manifold as the stocker is, and is held to the silencer with stout springs, and the silencer is held to the frame. It works well. I can't budge mine if I grab the pipe and try and move it. My last aftermarket pipe was very easily moved by hand.

The frame mount is not needed because about 12 inches of useless pipe is eliminated, The HPD unit whips the stockers a$$ literally!! There manifold which is included and the new springs for the head pipe and the silencer hold the new pipe just as well if not better than Polaris's design.
