Until they SUB-CATEGORIZE threads by MODEL?

In other words, imagine being able to first click on the Polaris link (cause I have a Polaris) then being able to click specifically on the Sportsman 500 folder to read only SP500 topics?

Wouldn't this be a cool, convenient idea? This site is awesome enough as it is, but just think how much better it could be.

It's slow enough, don't give them any ideas.

Seriously, this forum is slow because everyone comes in and posts a freaking question because THEY KNOW that it's like finding a needle in a haystack to try to look for previous info, say, on "how many zerks are on a SP500?"

What this forum should do is make ROOMS with TOPICS---first, separate the forum by MAKE (which they currently do) THEN by MODEL...

Now, have a folder called "how-to-fix" under each model. You go in there, and much like a shop manual, you see sub-categories: brakes, zerk fittings, etc...

Yes, I suppose at some point this forum might want to tell its users "for God's sake you morons, just go buy a $50 SHOP MANUAL!" but hey...this forum is cool.

These are just some ideas I had....just trying to help. Lastly, there really DOES appear to be a need for something like this...some type of organization. I say this because look no further than the posts that are already out there...what you see are hundreds of "views" but hardly any "replies"....

You guys sound like you need a suggestion for surfing this forum. Go to quickbrowse.com and set it up to retrieve the forums you want to read. Check out the help file first. After you get it saved, all you need to do is click on the link and it brings it in for you. Go get a beer from the fridge while it loads. I use it all the time. Tip: to log in, click the flower then the log in button that pops up in the new window. It will remember you after that. For the folks using multiple computers, the cookie goes on the quickbrowse site so it remembers when you logged in last regardless of what PC you are using.

Try using the "Search" Feature. It is much faster than reading all posts, and you wont have to click through a ton of subfolders to get there.

Never mind with more categories. I'd just like someone to wake up the guy who's suppose to turn the pages when he hear's the "click".
