1998 Polaris Magnum no spark
#1
I have a 1998 Polaris magnum 425. It was running terrible so I installed a new carb, fuel lines, cam shaft, air cleaner, spark plug, battery. and had it running decent for about 3 weeks.
It seemed to be running lean as it would bog down at high idle but If you covered one side of the air intake it would run like a dream. While out riding it bogged down and battery died so I could not use electric start.
Tried to pull start it but the recoil broke where it grabs the fly wheel so I got towed home. I pulled the recoil off and pulled out the broken pieces and had the charger on it. With electric start I can turn it over but no spark.
I have checked resistance on most components and seem to be fine. I don’t know where to look next to fix this.
