Hey he didn't send me home looking like the south end of a north bond horse. Just took a little vacation to the honda lovers cafe to tell them I told a polaris owner to buy a honda and a lot of crap heads just tried to get back at me and not take up for their fourwhellers ecept for one who I think really should some *****. But I have a little news flash for you (I'm sure you don't know what that is or you would be driving a honda). I own a honda 85 model that will hang with you polaris 99 models. The "might grizzly" as you call it will smoke a mag. Ground clearance don't mean a thing to a honda owner because we know it will not affect the marvolus piece of work one bit to hit something with a little more power than your "crap" has at full speed. I don't mind to spend less money for a better machine than a polaris mister "crap". What fourwheller do ya'll have to out run a 400 ex mister smoke on a trail or road which by the why is illegal.

Well everyone I hate to get into the mess, so I'll just tell you to read the "Hall of Shame" survey under the Other Topics in the forums. It talks about people bashing each other on these forums. There are pros and cons to every machine, get over it. Stop acting like little kids and saying the other owns "crap".

YEAH well statement like ground clearance doesn't mean anything.Really puts your mentality in perspective.Al that (sic) power on that Honda will do you no good if you can't get over anything.I bet you can get clear up to 30 miles an hour with that power house down hill that is.I've followed that mighty beast down a trail he spent his time trying to dodge rocks that never even fased my mighty 500sp,he couldn't begin to go where we did,got hung up on scrub brush that we went through with no problem.I like to get off the trail, but if you only want to ride the trials guess thats the machine for you.Have sticker on mine that says speed kills ride a HONDA how true. polaris has proven it's superiority many times over,POLARIS for ever.If you can't play with big dogs stay on porch(with your Honda).Later COB P.S.just thought my posts were hard to make sence out of i think you have out done me!!!!

Kevin,

I see what you mean... Unfortunatly - we don't get to vote on who gets to buy a HONDA

I think myscrambler has the best suggestion of getting split brakes.

I know Gordon and a few of his riding friends tried several different methods of getting all 4 wheels to brake going downhill. I don't think they were ever sucessful. They couldn't keep the hubs from disengaging at various times.

I forgot who said this, but I think it applies here: Never argue with a fool, people might not know the difference.

Overall - I think stick summed it up well!

Bottom line - If YOU like your quad - what does it matter??

Happy Trails Y'all

Here we go again arguing about who's quad is better! Bottom line: 10 years from now which brand is gonna still be standing after a hard abuse. It's gonna be the Honda. As soon as any of you Polaris guyz can come to me and show me that you have a quad still running good and in good shape after 11 years, then i'll fall down and praise you. Because i have an old Honda sitting in the shed right now that is 11 years old. It has taking about the worst beating that anybody could give it. It had been riden hard by many people. It has more hours on it than you can dream of. And it has never been overhauled and the frame is still fine. The engine still runs great. Just a few words from the man who wears red underwear.

tell them storker,

I have an 85 model 250 honda that is in almost perfect condition. I don't really know how many hours it has on it because it came out before hour gages did.

o0oHondao0o, Seems to me that on the Honda forum that they are talking about a recall because of a missing weld that could cause failure when ridden. Does that sound like quality manufacturing to you?
