Hi! first im swedish and my englist is a bit rusty but ill try to type as good as i can,

This will be a long story so if u doesnt like reading quit now =)

I bought a Polaris Sportsman 400. Not sure if its a 2004/05

It didnt ran from the begining so i started searching internet for common issues etc etc.

The things that has been replaced is:

Starter motor
Bendex starter
Coil and armaturo magnet
Ecu
Battery
camshaft (dekomp blew up thrue the lid and oil ran out on floor after startup try number 100....

It cranks over but it feels like the engine is fighting with itself. Pls shows 150 psi witch is more then enought if i read the manual. dekomp spring and ball is working. Engine is timed all the way from lower sprocket to top sprocket.

Woodruffkey on lower sprocket is fine but the key too flywhell doesnt like the backfireing and high comp so ive replaced it several times..

Trying to drag the ropestarts and my front teeths is left on floor...

intake and exhaust valves are 0.15

Please help me im starting to lose hope on this f...ing machine.

You mention it never ran when you got it , have you drained the fuel tank and have fresh gas in it ?

 

It ran after alot of cranking for like 10 sec. And only giving 1/8 trotthle ,giving it more it bogs and died.

The whole fuelline has been cleaned several Times.. nöjd i messed Up the starter engine so a new One is ordered..
