Too bad someone slipped my computer a virus or else I would have posted this earlier.

I went to a motocross track and sand flat area over the weekend. On the motocross track, or should I say supercross, my Scrambler fealt super heavy but faired well. My buddys Banshee performed excelent in comparison. He was clearing a tabletop better than all the motocross bikes there. Congrats on that Zorro!

Drag racing... I whooped his a$$!! I can finally say it! He had his newly welded Graydon pipes on and I killed him! Yes I did! I had the biggest smile on my face that day. We also raced a modded YZ400 which I could beat up to about 700 feet or so.

I am not bragging but it was a great feeling to see my tank kick some butt for once!

By the way I am buying a Raptor tomorrow for the mx track. The Scrambler was not nearly up to par in that type of riding. It was a great week-end!

Way to go Xplor........

You will love the Raptor. I am still getting used to it but so far so good. The offer is still open to you and Zorro on Saturday or Sunday (or both)of your trip. I am also going to Wisconsin later in the week of your trip.

Later KD

Xplor

Are you planning on bringing the Raptor or the Scrambler to Silver Lake? I just picked up a 400ex and plan on bringing it to Silver Lake. Let me know how I can find you at Silver Lake on the 11th. We plan on being there around 1pm on the 11th and riding Friday and Saturday. I will be driving my dark blue Dodge Dakota Quad Cab with the ex in the back and a Scambler and three wheeler on a trailer. Later

Great to here that Xplor,

I hope to have similar results when I add my stage 1 kit this weekend. Rick said that he still doesn't think I'll get a Banshee on top end, but he said that I'll get him even worse than before on low end. Hey, you should get a Video of the race because if there are any Die Hard Banshee fans reading your post they will say "No Way!". I got similar reactions when I was talking to some guys about the Polaris acceleration. Well, looks like your buddy is going to be in denial for a while. Take it easy.

FYI on the Raptor. It takes alot of getting used too! I rode my buddies for a day(we switched) and it seems real boggy in low rpm's (hard to do any technical riding) and it is terrible climbing hills. However for the track this thing kicks ***! It is almost scarey fast the front end will come up pretty easy in the first 3(yes 3) gears.
Also hill climbing almost always needs to be done in first gear. Second gear is a little too high for anything steep and long.

Keep the rpms up!
and good luck

Zorro was in denial for a couple hours. I have all drag races on tape! He beat me on the first one because he leaped the start. I have the proof! Today Zorro put some 34mm carbs on his Shee and we will go test it out tonight. He is now on a mod-spree.

As for Silver Lake I am not sure which to bring. I am still shaking and in shock at the idea that I just bought a Raptor! I will get it on Friday!! The question is: Do I want to win drag races and roost like crazy on my Scram or do I want to jump better but be a slow-poke on my new Raptor... tough decision. It will most likely be the Scrambler for the sand.

Kevin, I will let you know for Silver Lake and the other rides a little later on this week as we still have a few details to work out...plus my sister has not given birth yet and I must wait for that before heading down.

I am one happy camper today!!

Oh, I meant to ask why Zorro posted a different story down below this one? According to him, he beat you 2 out of 3 times, and the only time you won was when he messed up. Is that post from when he was still in denial? He also said that his was stock at the time. Man, I'm so glad to hear that you beat a Banshee. I would absolutely love to get a copy of one of your tapes. Do you have a video card that your VCR can hook up to? If not I would be happy to make a copy for you onto a CD-Rom and I would also post it on my webpage. I'll ship both the CD-Rom and the Video tape back to you when finished. Anyway, I really would like to see some action. Take it easy.

He was very much in denial. We went to try out his new carbs tonight. I stomped him once again. He may try to dispute this fact but it is the gosh darn truth! The tank did it again!

I drag raced my wife who was on the Scrambler and I was on my Xplorer. Man does my Xplorer feel like a slug now. She whipped me good. She was at the end of the road and I was just half way there! My 3000$ worth of mods was well invested in this Polaris...

Life is good!!!
