what is envoled with putting large rear tires on a scrambler 4x4. i really want to do this to get the ground clearance. and i know i just can't switch rear tires on a 4x4 can regear the rear drive, please help

I am not sure about a Scrambler, but Know a few guys with Xplorers. Mainly it will be a clearance problem. As long as you go taller and not much wider, you should be fine. I THINK (not sure) you can go up to 27 inch on the rear and 26 on the front without rubbing. With smaller front tires than rear, the 4wd will have a slightly bigger lag before it catches, but as long as you stay within an inch of each other, you will be fine. Maybe I better re-phrase that. If you go up an inch on the back, the front should be OK. If you go up 2 inches in back, I would go up one in front, just to keep the 4wd working better. If you go wider, you may need to get wheel spacers, especially for the front, or else the tires will rub.
