I have a 98 Polaris 425 Magnum that I ride in Alabama. Factory setting is for 0 to 3000 feet above sea level. I plan to ride for 1 or 2 weeks a year at around 10,000 feet. What adjustments if any are required to keep it running properly for that trip.

Your manual should give you jetting for them heights.I have mine jetted for 6-9000 that pretty well covers it.You will tell much-o power loss you lose 3% of power for each 1000 ft of elevation. It's nothing you can't handle my 500sp has no trouble.Where are you riding. LATER COB

Thanks for the reply Corncob2. I make a fall hunt to Cortez, CO area and had hoped a simple screw adjustment might get me by for that short trip-------I suspected that was being a little too optimistic. My home elevation is so low that I know I can't set up for 10,000 ft. and leave it as it would be too lean at home. See ya, SCinc2
