Ok guys, I've made up my mind I'm going to mod my 01TB. It just doesn't have enough throttle. I know I should have gotten a bigger bike but that's another topic. I'm leaning towards the hotseat 250 performance kit, 440 with shipping. My question is this, after you guys made your mods and reaped the advantage of more hp and speed did you still have the reliability of your stock bike. I asked this because I ride my TB REALLY HARD to keep up with the guy I riding with who has a 350 warrior. I know what you're thinking, how am I keeping up in the first place. It's experience and as his increases I won't be able to keep up without the mods. I just don't want to spend more time working on the bike instead of riding it because of the mods. Need for speed, not a headache. Thanks, Beefy250

I have not had any troubles with my trailblazer after adding a DG pipe and the hotseat hypershift clutch kit. It really made a big difference in performance, it feels like a different machine, I think you will be very happy you did it.

Good Luck!

You will not decrease the dependability factor with a pipe and clutch kit. The only place you might experience some trouble is with the stock Polaris piston. It cannot take the higher RPMs. I would switch to a Wiseco while you're doing the mods. I know some people have had decent luck with Hotseat, but if you do a search on them on this forum, I think you would find more negative things said about them than positive things. I personally know from experience that HPD offers the best in fit, finish, and performance.

No reliability issues after adding my mods. You may have to pay a little closer attention to your jetting. Also, these mods don't do much for top end speed. I gained considerably at low and midrange but gained very little on top end. From what I've been told to get the top end speed up will require more mods like porting, mill the head...etc. Buy I think you'll be happy with the purchase.
