I just got a '00 scrambler 500 and a sportsman 500. I wanted to know of some ways to improve both of them.

Improve what? Handling, top speed, acceleration, traction, towing, carrying loads, protection, reliability, looks? If you can be a little more specific I am sure someone here has the answer! :-)

I am looking to increase both acceleration and top speed.

If anyone knows the top speed of a scrambler 500 i would like to know.

Scrambler top speed approx 65 mph. as for the mods i will let someone else handle that question as i have not modified my Scrambler-yet. CT 00 Scrambler 500
