A follow-up to a past topic of going into Canada with rifles. On 6/4/01 I crossed into Quebec with my rifle. Having the proper paperwork downloaded, printed, and filled out I crossed with no hitches. We were delayed 30 minutes due to the agents having a lot of paperwork to deal with. One agent even said she felt bad for the US citizens who crossed daily for deer season. The $50 (Canadian funds) is good for one year. You will be issued numbers on your paperwork (hold on to it) that will be valid for 60 days. The next time you cross with that same weapon, you present them your paperwork and they will issue you new numbers, no fee provided a year has not passed.

Go to my yahoo.briefcase site to see pictures of the boar hunt, and new pictures of the Sportsman 90 with mud and water action.

BOARS?

I thought for sure you msipleld bears! I saw the pics. Looks like a hog to me. I never heard of or would have guessed.

These are wild? What do they do for winter protection? I always thought of them as warm climate monguralls.

They grow winter coats. This one was still molting. As a matter of fact, when we arrived the owners of the place were off BEAR hunting. They have a spring season.
