I am looking at either the RCR Stage 1 with the low end pipe..

or the HPD Racing Trail Blazer pipe..and the 250 piped/stock engine
Part # ATVCK25P
List: $80.00 Clutch kit..

Which will give me more power?

And if i buy the HPD..what carb jets should i buy and what airbox mod?

Thats pretty impressive!

The nice thing about the RCR 1 kit is that everything is matched and comes together. The RCR kit also comes with a clutch modification.

97TrailBlazer-Have you made up your mind on which one you are going to use? I'm starting to lean toward RCR.If anyone is using the RCR stage 1 please let me know how much better it runs.

I know a guy that has RCR pipe and clutch and it is total junk.I have HPD on my Scrambler and I love it. My other friend has an HPD clutch and it is awesome. If I was you, I would get an HPD with no dought.HPD will give you free jets if you buy the pipe, but remember to tell them you have a new airbox.

I heard just the opposite

I was talking to a guy at the local polaris dealership

And said that his HPD Pipe Blew out after 5 hours of riding..and they wouldn't replace it

He said he put a RCR kit on and loves it!

Anyone else out there had a bad experience with RCR or HPD?

I took my RCR Stage 1 equipped Sport to my local Polaris dealer to let the mechanic check it out after the installation. He was blown away at the performance of the bike. He said it was superior to HPD's, which he had been installing. He couldn't believe how my quad ripped.
With the stage 1 kit, I got the pipe, silencer, new clutch spring, air-box mod, and two jets. The kit took 2 hours to install. It was the best $320 dollars I ever spent.

Ryanmat,
If your friend is having a trouble with his RcR kit , E-mail me his phone number . I will call him and rectify the problem to his satisfaction. Thank you,
Rick Ritter
P.S. What kind of quad do you ride ?
