Well guys I have 2 make my first repair on my 00 TBlazer..
I hit a really big rock with the left side a-arm,,(almost got stopped) did'nt bend the thing but the rear bushing is all smushed and I can move the arm about half an inch or more..
My ? is if after I take the 2 bolts off on the frame and the nut off of it will the arm come of with a hammer or will I need a tool ???? and can I just go 2 my dealer and pick up new bushings or will I need 2 take it 2 him 2 put the bushings in ????
Thanks in advance for the help

I replaced my a-arm some time ago on my 2000 Blazer. I did the same exact thing as you to the left arm. Except the rock did stop me.
The a-arm should just slide out from between the metal mounting tabs after you remove the bolts. And the bushings should slide right off and the new ones right on.

Did the same with my Scrambler. Just be sure that the pivot rod inside the a-arm isn't bent. If you buy the a-arm kit from your local dealer it will come with the bushings and the rod. Take a look at the tabs on the frame to see if they are bent and if the holes are elongated (sp). I had that problem and wound up drilling out the tabs and using shouldered bolts. Hope this helps.
