ATV of the "Future" ?
#1
Got a questionaire in the mail yesterday from a "Mackenzie Corp.", representing an "established client in the ATV industry". There are 36 questions with a couple hundred subquestions about ATV brands, use rider profile, etc., etc. One of the more interesting questions is regarding "what the ATV of the future should be. There are 43 items on this question that they ask you to rate as to whether or not the ATV of the future should include. Some of the interesting options are Built in air compressor, Lockable storage, adjustable rack system, digital meter with diagnostic capability, load compensating suspension, built in GPS, compass, hand/thumb warmers, enclosed seating, air conditioning, float with rider, pto shaft, power steering and lots of other options. At least one ATV manufacturer is interested in what riders want. The way the questions are worded does'nt seem to point to any certain brand, but it sorta seems like Polaris may have commissioned this study. Anybody else get this questionaire? Oh, another question ask you to rate the top five reasons for my purchase of quad from a list of 42 reasons. Just thought everyone would be interested to know that somebody is trying to please customers.

I'm guessing this would be the Cadillac Escalade compared to a Yukon? A quad with all that crap would cost close to 10K and would have a lot of stuff to go wrong. Whats next, an On-Star system?
