Hi, does anyone have the valve adjustment specs for the 97 sportsman 500? I went to load the quad last night for a day of riding today and found that it is bogging out at about half throttle, almost like the choke is stuck on. I checked the fuel filter and plug and choke lever and everything seems to work fine. Took the snorkel off the back of the carb and it runs perfectly, but there seems to be some fuel being sprayed out with the snorkel removed. This brought us to the conslusion that perhaps one of the exhaust valves was stuck or way out of adjustment.

Both intake and exhaust valve clerance are .006" (.15mm). Hope this helps.
