i really like the looks of the FTR pipe the way all the fat part is in front of the motor but......... i have heard so many horror storys about FTR i dont want to mess with them.

does anyone else make a pipe like that ?

I have a 00 Xplorer with the same 400 engine that you have.I can tell you this much, stay away from DYNOPORT.The owner is a lier and he is also very deceiving. He promised me that his pipe would come in at the 94db sound level law that Michigan has.I ordered it,had it tested 2 differant times, and both times it far exceeded the 94db sound law.

I than called him back to tell him that he mislead his company and his product.I told him the pipe was being sent back,he said he had a 'no return'' policy and would'nt accept nothing back.Currently,my credit card company is taking him to court.

Anyways,
I now am running a modified PSI pipe with a stock Scrambler silencer. It really made a HUGE differance in performance and meets the Michigan sound level.

bermbanger400,

You could try the new HPD race pipe. It's very similar to the unobtainable FTR.

BUY THE HPD RACEPIPE!!!!!!!!!It is very effecient. Lites off super fast. Everything the catalog says true.

Requirements:
A. New handlebar grips.....hang-on
B. Clean dry seat, preferbly some stickem from a local baseball player.
C. Remove your pipe/leg guard...fits so nice, you won't need it.
D. Oil Of Olay anti-aging lotion, cause you're gonna be grinnin' like an idiot from the time you hit the throttle.

LITES FAST AND PULLS HARD!!!!!

I and many others have removed the fan. If you're doing alot of slow trail riding; keep it on. The new HPD pipe is awesome. It's a tad bit ugly compared to FTR's pipe, but it sure works. By the way; FTR or G-Force Racing is no more. Good Luck!

I noticed that Bodenius.
The silencer is sold seperately for the HPD pipe.
