why do so many polaris break down,burn-up & break?


I just bought one last week,so I could roll my lawn....1st time I hooked up roller & put in drive ... the hole for clevis egged out & broke,at same time the burned the belt up.
WHATS UP WITH THIS SH*T?

You can't use a 27,000lb D-9 dozer as a roller.

That's about what I was thinking. What quad were you using and how heavy IS that roller?

Did you have it in high range? In low, you would have never burned the belt.
