Yeah it was silver and it is an inline twin. The exhaust sucks. 2 very small pipes comming out of the motor into 1 pipe that is small. Sounds very quiet and has a cool note to it. And I also saw the new Scrambler 500 5-speed that weighs 380 pounds. It was black and white and has a 5-speed with a clutch.

if I won the powerball on Saturday I still wouldn't bet ya. It would be nice if they would surprise us all and release a true sport machine. The current Scramblers have their place, but a lightweight (if Polaris knows the meaning) Sport machine with about 50 hp would be a blast.

kool, I wish I owned the first one just for bragging rights.
Oh well, usually on Polaris's introductory year, you might as well buy 2 and use one for parts

Cool,
the it's about time Polaris built a competitive sport quad. With Bombardier's new 440 cc two stroke twin (simular to their snowmobile engine)ATV and this new Polaris, the market is going to get interesting. Well someday, the new DS 440 is not scheduled for release untill 2003 at the earliest. A name has not even been picked yet, DS 440 was just what the test drivers were calling it in Florida 3 weeks ago.
