Has anyone installed this before? After getting everything in place I can't seem to find the hole to insert the cotter pin. I have taken the nut and washers back off the bottom and still cant find it. Is the HSP taller than stock and not allowing the hole to drop low enough to see?

Thanks
Scott

i didnt have any problems with mine. maybe the hole is fill with grease.

i take it your steering had some play in it with the stock plastic one?

i installed the HSP steering support on mine then after about 3 hard days of riding(i jump my quad alot and ride alot of wheelies)my up and down play is right back in mine kinda sucks too after paying that much for it and it not lasting any longer than that.

The Hot Seat bushing isn't designed properly. The HPD bushing is the one to get. I've seen a number of the Hot Seat bushings fail. The cotter pin hole should be towards the end of the steering stem in the threaded portion.

I've had both the Hot Seat and HPD. Buy the HPD, because if you install the Hot Seat Chromoly steering stem (grease hole omitted) you can very easily drill and install a zerk in the HPD unit.
