What do you guys think???

Well, my girlfriend went for a nice ride with us this weekend. She drove my 400 Sport and loved it. We went on a pretty easy trail, but there were some sections that made her a little nervous. But all in all she had a great time.
Anyway, after thinking about it I realized that I don't need two "sporty" machines so I think that I'm giving up the Sport and getting a 4x4. I live in the "city" and don't have a place to ride my quads so they sit at my parents in there garage (along with my sled, and another car of mine). My father won't let me pay them rent on their garage so I guess I can at least buy something that he would want to ride (for hunting and stuff, he get's into that kind of thing). I think that it would also be a better trail quad for my girlfriend.
Well, my question is what kind of quad do you think that I could get for an even trade with my Sport (obviously used)? It's a 1998 and it's in great shape (just the normal scratches). It's got the RcR Stage 1 kit (mid range pipe, silencer, clutch kit, jets, airbox mod, and filter) along with a Moose Skidplate and a 42mm Hot Seat carb. The quad runs perfect and has never been rebuilt or any other major repairs. I would like to trade it for another Polaris (preferably a 4-stroke). Any ideas?

Might I suggest if you want a 4 stroke, a comparable year 425 Magnum. THey are the 3 chain 4wd, but with a very dependable engine. Just shy away from anything older than a 1996. Lots of little nickle and dime things that were improved in the 96 and newer machines. Same basic engine as what you will find on the current 400 Sportsman or 425 Xpedition, but in a chassis similar to the 3 chain Xplorer. Since the chassis is lighter, it will about keep up with a non-HO Sportsman 500, for the most part, but might not be able to tow or haul as much.
If those are hard to find in your neck of the woods, what about an Xplorer? Same basic engine as what your 400 sport has, but with a quieter muffler. It comes with a hitch, front & rear racks, 4wd, with low range, and makes a decent utility machine for all but the hardest work. I do farm work with mine all the time, got 4000 miles on the first belt, and very few repairs. I tow a 2-wheeled trailer with it for fence work and such, and the only thing I have noticed so far is if I load it up too much (over 600 or 700 pounds total) the chain needs more frequent adjustment than usual. I have pulled over 1000 pounds in the trailer very successfully, and usually have more worries how to get the load stopped than I do rolling. It is also a much sportier trail rider than the 4 cycles. I have 5100 miles on mine and the engine has yet to be touched.
Who knows, there just may be someone with an Xplorer, who wants a little more 'oomph' and would rather trade up, instead of try to modify it. Otherwise the sell outright and pay cash idea sounds like a good one.
