ok, here's the question: i the sp700 a parallel twin (inline) or a v-twin??
here's the info: arctic cat lug nuts and shock mount nuts fit polaris steering tie rods. i know this b/c my nephew dropped a tie rod while doing 30 mph over rough ground while on his magnum 500. thankfully we were not jumping and he did not get hurt. see, he had it at a dealer to get fixed after his houseguest wrapped it around a tree. when he got it back the lug nuts were not tightened, the brakes were not bled, and ,apparently, the cotter pin in the tie rod was not installed. the quad is a 1999 model and has never once let him down, it is still on its first belt, and he rides it like he stole it.
