The insurance carrier for my ATV sent me a letter saying that they no longer insure ATVs. My auto and homeowners carrier doesn't insure ATVs. Anyone know of a nationwide insurance company, and their number I can get ahold of? Don't tell me Progressive, I've already had a bad experience with those crooks.

Thanks for any info.

I have all my stuff with Nationwide. I just got basic liability for my old Tecate for $27. I have full coverage on my Scrambler for $65.

StateFarm also insures atv's. What insurance company were you using that is quiting the atv insurance gig?

Farmers insurance also does atv's ( different than snake er, state farm insurance.) They [farmers] broker coverage from "mid century insurance company."

I had my atv insurance through Foremost Insurance. I have two trucks, and ten houses insured with Nationwide, but they said they aren't doing atv insurance anymore.

I just got done researching this after purchasing my new HO. The best nationwide coverage for the best price was atv-line.com. They are underwritten by Markel American, the same company that Polaris uses if you go thru them. I got 50k/100k/300k coverage with $250 deductible for $122/year. State Farm, who has my house, car, and truck wanted $184 for the same coverage.

What are you guys paying for ins. because my agent is hosing me big time. I'm 38 with a clean record and full coverage is about 350.00/year. I never had ins. on it until last year and someone broke in my house and shed, luckily my quad was still there, so I called my agent and said sign me up and never talked money. He sent the bill and I just about $hit my pants. I dont pay that much for my car.
