Get the 700, you'll like it. No, get the 660, you'll love more. Better Yet, get the 650, you'll love it most.

For some, this is a tough call? For me?The amount of time that both my new 500 Sportsman and my 00 Xplorer spent in the shop for repairs, makes my answer to your question easier.I'd personally opt for the lighter, more nimble Grizz 660.Its record of ''down time'' in the shop for repairs CANT be any worse than BOTH my Polaris ATVs?It has everything going for it that the 700 has, except the twin engine and extra 140 lbs.

Tough call?Especially if this is your first Polaris.

I just went through somewhat of the same decision. I discounted the Yamaha, I dont like the overall, noise and vibration of the Grizzly or most Yamy utilities. I really was impressed with the Polaris it handled much better than I thought it would. I was just slightly unimpressed with the low end though. I ended up buying the Kawi 650. I couldnt find anything I didnt really like about it, plus I got it at a little more than 1000.00$ LESS. If IRS is an important factor for you I would go with the 700. If not find the best deal you can get, ride as many as you can and good luck.

Say what you want pal, but if you had spent the same time and money on 2 polaris duds like he did, you would be crying a river of your own. I guarantee you this. I love this 660 I have right now, but if it starts giving me fits, I won't hesitate to let folks know that it was a first class piece of crap. I can't see why you get so irate because a guy is telling about misfortunes with a quad. They sucked! Thats the bottom line. Is he supposed to keep it a secret so the polaris underground doesn't cut his throat in the middle of the night or what? Don't hate the playa, hate the game!

I fully agree with vegasdude.....keep the 500 Ho .....the grizz try it beforehand , and u'll realize that it pulls more but as far as stopping and overall handling cannot compete with HO

ANDY,
some guys just dont get it?Seems like SOME of the POLARIS worshipers dont like to hear ANYTHING negative about the choice they made about owning a Polaris? If you own one and dont brag about it,by NO MEANS,dis-credit it,even if you've had problems? You've been in these Forums long enough to know,I DONT work that way,I'll tell the story the way it happens[Good or Bad],not the way I think you want to hear it.

SCARYFAST,
very easy to refer to me as a sissy sitting behind a PC?Im sorry you perceive my post in here as complaining?I re-read my post and I feel I gave a pretty accurate opionion,MINE!

I'll tell you the same thing I tell all the other Polaris guys that dont like my posts in here.DONT READ THEM!

If you can't make up your mind, just find a new Arctic Cat 500I. They have a very nice ride, plenty of torque and will pull like a semi tractor. Best of all, it's about $600-800 less than the Griz or the Polaris. I know it's more reliable than the Polaris and doesn't vibrate like the Griz. Go give it a look and a test drive.
