Why not?
I think that would be a great idea.
As it is, the 700 is too heavy to take seriously.
The current 500 6x6 is good, but the extra oomph of the 700 twin would make it a little more fun when it wasn't working, and would probably make the 6x6 a better work machine as well.

As for the weight. You'd have to be silly to ride teh 6x6 like a normal quad anyway, so a few more pounds wouldn't be such an issue. I think they could then even go a bit bigger on the box and it would have even more utility.

Of course then a Warn 2500 might not then be enough insurance.

Well I was under the impression that the 6x6 was supposed to be niche vehicle, and yes the 700 would be great in it, ( I'd be suprised if they didn't flat drop the 500 model, marketing you see, then the current 500 6x6's would have to upgrade.) But you get much bigger you might as well get a jeep, but I'm sure if polaris kept it on steroids much longer it'd look more like a humvee, sans reducers at the wheels.

I trail ride my 6x a lot. It's great. You don't have to be "silly to ride the 6x6 like a normal quad". You have to be silly to think you can ride it like a sport quad. Anyway, I think we'll see the 700 in the 6x's before long. I think where it's needed more is in the Ranger. I've heard it's a great vehicle, but under powered for it's weight. If they do put the 700 in the 6x, I still won't give up my '98 500 BigBoss 6x6. What a great machine.

they should make this because everytime they come out with a new motor they have added it to the 6x6.except for the 500 ho.
