Hello Ge4x4

I really like the pics you posted. I bought the same one a couple of weeks ago, and I pick it up this weekend. I've been dying to actually see a picture of one, thanks for the post. Can you tell me how you like the machine. Maybe any problems you've had I should look out for. I'd appreciate the info. Thanks.

Scott

The only problems so far is every where I go everyone wants to look at it and ask questions since no one has seen one. Other then that it's been perfect. I had a 99 sport which would lift the front pretty easy, but this one even with the 4 wheel componets, wheelies just as easy. The ceramic exhaust is awsome, you can ride all day and smell no paint like the black one does, and it hasn't discolored yet either. Also the pipe stays cooler. The only down fall is the quad looks so good, you don't want to get it dirty, however it will happen. I think you will really like the bike, so have fun and let me know how things go.

best mods for the 400 stroke scrambler is a HPD or RCR pipes, with hpd cltuch kit,k&n air filter and air box mods, hpd billet heads,BOYESEN rad valve and reed spacer, pwk 39 carb, lighten flywheel,timing...
but those are engine mods only, the scrambler like chassis/suspension mods you can changes to shave some dead weights on the machine...

GE4x4,

Yeah, I have that problem every where I go. As soon as I start it up or wheel it out, people come running. At one place a guy came up to me and said to his friend "Look it's got a pipe!" I had to inform him that it had a little bit more done to it than a just a pipe. The last poker run we went to in Madera, I had guys with Raptors, 400EXs and Banshees grouped around it. You'd think it was the second coming for crying out loud! Granted, I did spend quite a bit of money on it. The way I look at it, it's cheaper than buying a new machine every year and I can still run with the big boys.

Thanks GE 4x4. I really was looking at the Scrambler 500, but he happened to have this one in blue, which will match my son's new Trail Boss. By the way, would anyone know where I can get a decal kit for a Trail Boss???? Thanks

Scott
