hey guys i am really considering trading off my scrambler for a 400ex what do u think would be a fair price for mt scram?u can see list of mods below also i am planning on putting starter and oil injection back on before taking it to dealer. i was thinking about 3500 but will probably have to settle for less.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

If you goto a dealer be prepared to bend over. $3500 seems fair if you are selling to a second party, but dont expect much more than around $2300-2500 from a dealer on trade.

 

I am suprised to see that with all of the mods you have done to your Scram you havn't installed a clutch kit. Do you have a picture of your quad?

Are you not happy with your Scram 400?? Why are you trading? The Honda is a sweet quad, but modifying it is expensive and it is air cooled. They overheat easy after modifying them. But the do handle sweeeeet.

I am interested in that I may learn from what you have experienced. Your 400 looks like you are just getting rigged out nice.

If you do trade it in you would be better off putting everything back stock. If you do email me intrested in Chain tensior, alum. bars, nerf bars and maybe shock setup.

BTW how did you rig up a shifter.

 

well scramblerx 1 reason i havent installed a clutch kit is that my friend has 1 in his 96 sport i just dont like the way it revs up taking off when we trail ride it sounds like he is gonna blow his quad just cruising around on the trails.AZ400L yeah i am prepared for that [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] i may have a guy interested in mine hopefully he comes through.Chunky no i am not happy with it i am just tired of working on it all the time just havent had good luck with this one.Sporty i just removed the shifter and linkage and welded a piece of alum. to the piece that splines over the shaft pretty easy actually i ahve some pics but.... my scanner is screwed up rite now.
