I put on my dampner today and when i got it mounted like the instructions said it just misses the coil over spring. Is this normal for it to be so close? I am concerned that it might get hung up on or broken off in the suspension. Anyone have this mod or any info on this, you would be a big help.

 

I don't really recall mine being that close to the shock. Double check your installation...not saying you did anything wrong, but never hurts to double check. By the way, make sure you start with one of the lower settings first. Take it gradual, or you'll be wrestling and taking trees.
