00 Trailblazer VS 00 300ex

I've road with a 300EX as for Speed..stock i was a quad and a half lenght behind him at the end.
On Trail rides. I could keep up with him just fine and in some cases leave him totally behind! On hills i had less trouble flying up them where as he'd get in the middle and have to downshift. In Mud and water it was about the same. There were a few times where he made it where i couldn't and there are times i made it when he couldn't I think it's just all how you hit the mud.
with my RCR kit..I think i could come a little closer in a Race.

Is FasterBlaster speaking from experience? I'll be confronting a TB 250 with my 300EX this Spring (when the snow clears) and want to hear more about this particular comparison. I've heard that the 2-stroke cannot keep up with the 300EX out of the corners or even at top end. Is this true?

If your comparing these two bikes to each other remember that about $1600 also separates them from each other,The TB is a fine machine for the money I had a 2000 for almost a year, but the only thing I could out run was a king quad, period & that was with an RCR kit installed. You have to remember that the 250 is a air cooled piston port engine and with out major mods I dont think it is a very fair comparison. It kinda like trying to compare a scrabler to the 300EX ....no comparison. Dont get me wrong I loved my TB but if you were going to spend the extra money for the EX you can save about $300 bucks and buy a 400 2x4
and totally blow him away!!!
