Magnum 500 RMK

Has anybody seen or riden a 500 RMK? A dealer told me that they haven't come out yet. I find it hard to believe that Polaris has been holding back releasing it.

The dealer here had one and i looked it over when it first came in.I didnt like the full time 4x4.But i talked to the dealer later and he said he sold it to a farmer that used it for farm use and loved it.They are great looking machines if it had a magic button i would love to have one.

We have one. I haven't ridden it, nor has anyone else I know of. They are out there. I wonder if your dealer really wanted one. I know ours hasn't been seriosly looked at yet. If only it had this same four wheel drive(keeping all four locked together all the time) with the option of that little 2X4 switch. Someday Polaris will figure out how to accomplish this, SOMEDAY.

TG1, I have one and I like it a lot for what it capabilities are. Allow me to explain.
If you're looking for an ATV that has a heavy duty load hauling suspension as well as low enough gearing to haul that load in nearly any condition, if you do not need to be the first to arrive on scene but not that far behind, if you opperate on steep hillsides and need four wheel engine braking to control your decents with ease and predictable handling, and if (once the suspension is broke in) you want a very comfortable ride with really easy steering, then this may be the machine for you. It is for me when I have these needs!
If you want to go fast or need to power slide this is not your ATV. In my opinion the only thing needed to make this machine a top seller is to switch in and out of AWD on demand!

Hey Shaggy500HO got a 2000 sp500 that bottoms out in front i think cause of the extra weight of the bumper and winch. where did you get the heavy springs and how much were they? and where did you get the super header and muffler? sounds like that 500 would scoot! thanks man!
