I was wondering if anyone makes a gas gauge for a sportsman and if they do make a after market one can I get a web sight address or any other info. any info would be great. thanks shedhead

 

With the shape of the tank ( being high in the middle and low on the sides) I don't think any one makes one.
What I did when I had mine, was to fill it before each ride.

 

I agree with GE4X4. Would be nice of there was one though.

 

What you do is find out how many miles you get to a full tank of fuel,not including reserve.Then every time you refuel set your tripmeter to zero and voila,you have a way to monitor your fuel,and still have reserve if there is a variance in your miles per tank.

 

re gas gauge the polaris dealer should be able to order one i have ordered one for a expedition 425 they are only about 20 dollars also check the polaris website they can give you the part number it is a very useful site i have even downloaded a complete parts book for my o1 expedition from this site
