Well gentlemen, you don't know what a big step in life this is for this young man. All we Polaris owners have heard is "I don't think I would own one of those.", "My Wolverine will do anything those Sportsmans will.", "They're too heavy.","They're too expensive.", yada, yada, yada. He also said he didn't like the yellow ones. Guess what color his is. He also said he'd never have a winch. He bought the color he did, because they threw in the winch deal. No, asfastasu is not Bill Clinton! As a matter of fact, I don't even think he's a Democrat.
Well anyway, all of his buds are tickled to death he got a new wheeler, and to be quite honest, we'd a been happy for him even if he didn't buy an HO. We're even considerin' him to be part of the family now. Sure, he's the mentally handicapped cousin, who picks his nose, pees his pants, and shows his ****** to everyone, but, he's still part of the family.

I'm in the process of selling my wolverine. I'm looking at a 2000
grizzly. I just want more bike, and I want to try the automatics,my wolverine has been the best, runs great and no maint.
I'm a yamaha man from way back,,Polaris catches my eye every once in a while, but every time I seem one powering away I see another one needing maint..granted the ones I see needing maint, are a few years old, but
they are not neglected. Since you just got rid of a yammy and went Polaris, what do you think???

I've rode with many sportsman 500 in the past and have seen alot of things break, over heat and break. That was enough to keep me off a Polaris. It seems that they have worked out most of these bugs with the newer H.O.'s. I wanted more power than my Wolverine had and I couldn't see putting any more money into it to still not have what I wanted. It was a great machine, and it never let me down, it just didn't have enough grunt for me. I wanted more power, no limited slip front end, all for a good price. This was the best deal I could find without having to drive for a day to get it. Yes it is yellow, and yes I really don't care for it. (it's better than the new green!!) Yes I got the free winch deal with it. (and have allready had to use it, but I still don't think it will pull me out if I get really stuck!!) Yes it is heavy!! But all the ones I considered were. And no I'm not a democrat, I don't know what religion has to do with it anyways!!
I really like the bike, it seems to have alot more power than the Wolv. It is also quite a bit faster. I find that I ride the same trails alot faster without even thinking about it. (I have to slow myself down from time to time) It is alot wider and that has good points and bad. So far it is a keeper!
Bearcub or whatever,
I didn't buy it just to fit in with your so called, inbreeding, 3 tooth, larry breathed bunch. But it is nice to know that I do fit in now!

Wolverine51,
This is just my opinion, so take it for what it is worth. I would not even consider a grizzly. I bought one a few years ago, and it turned out to be a very disappointing purchase. i do not want to get into all the issues, because someone will just say I am bashing. If you are considering a Grizzly and an HO, go ride both... not in a parking lot, but on trails like you are going to ride one. Do not ride them for 5 minutes... spend a little time on both. You will bve amazed at the difference. Also, to be honest, I would take a Wolverine over a 600 Grizzly. if you consider the 660, that is a different story. While I still would not reccomend it over the HO, it is much much better than the 600.
Anyway, I would hate for you to make the same costly mistake I did.

Hey Greg,
What do you think about running 25" vamps on my H.O.? I have two 25x9.5's that I could put on the front, and them I could get two 25x13's for the back. Do you think they would put to much strain on the quad? Would 25"'s be worth it? It's either that , or, sell the two fronts and get me something different. (brand wise that is) Just tryin to get another opinion.
