Heres a test i found on the dirt wheels site, i think youll find it iteresting!
TWO STROKE VS. FOUR STROKE
One of the chief advantages of a two-stroke engine over a four-stroke is the quicker acceleration and more rapid power delivery. The two-stroke powered Scrambler 400 enjoys this advantage over its 500cc four-stroke rival. It hooks up and gets moving quicker than the 500 and has it beat slightly on top-end speed (67 mph vs. 65 mph). We ran both machines side by side for comparison purposes and in most situations, the 400 always had a slight edge over the 500 Scrambler.
It is also usually much easier (and cheaper) to get more of a power increase when you start modifying a two-stroke engine versus a 4-stroke motor. On a two-stroke, you can usually get a large increase in power by simply adding an aftermarket pipe or carb. It is no secret that you have to spend big bucks to extract more performance from a four-stroke, with cams, valves, and carbs increasing the costs dramatically.
Some riders also enjoy the simpler maintenance a two-stroke engine provides. When it comes to replacement items such as pistons and rings, sure, you will have to replace the two-strokes sooner than most four-strokes, but the parts themselves are usually cheaper to purchase and simpler to install.

Yeah, Crazy Jimmy is better than us Polaris riders. He's man enough to handle an auto-clutch.

By the way, thanks Tyson for your knowledgable post. I'm sure that it will help out alot of people who can't decide between the 2 stroke and the 4 stroke.
