What happened to the sport quad?
#1
Back last September I was reading my Dirt Wheels and it mentioned both the Z400 and the Polaris sport quad. What happened to the Polaro? The article made it look promising adn since Polaris quads can usually be had for less money than the big four I was interested. Anybody have some updates?

It's too bad nobody's seen or heard of it since that issue of Dirt Wheels...
I'm rather curious to see what body-style they came up with, 'cause if you guys remember, the one they had on it when they demo'd it was apparently pretty ugly, and everyone told them to change it...

There's a pic of it in the April ATV Sport, it has Red Maiers Plasitcs, on it and yes it does look to be at least 500cc, Although that big gauge on the bars looks like something off of that new bombardier Outlander thing.

Kodiak01-
Can you scan a pic of that and post it or email it to me? I would like to see it.
I am selling my Magnum to get a sport quad and want to see what I am not going to wait around on.
Our dealer wont have the Z400 until April 2 and claims to know nothing about the polaris.( was in there today to look at a used 400EX). I am pretty sure I am getting the 400EX, but part of me wants to wait and see the Z400.

sorry soggyrider, my scanner is down. The plastic isnt the final design, but it does look very promising. Also a word of advice, if I were you I would wait and get the Z. The chassis & Suspension is almost identical to the 400EX, but I'm sure the motor should be much stronger and that reverse is a nice insentive.
