Sooner or latter my Titan 489 AT's will be shot and I will need new rubber. I will be going with the alum. rim tire combo from Rocky Mountain. They seem to have the best prices.

Right now it is between the Dirt Devil and Titan 489 XT. Both are 6 ply right? I want a strong tire that will last, not go flat as much as 489 AT's and provide good bite. I ride lots of mud/snow so traction is needed.

So which would you say to get?

When I replaced my titans, I went with the dirt devils and dont regret it a bit. Great in mud and snow.

When the stock Goodyear Trackers wore out(imagine that) on the front of my SP 500, I replaced them w/Dirt Devils. Love 'em! When the back Goodyears wear out I will get DD's also. I have read where they are 6 ply and also 4 ply????????

Dirt Devils all the way, My 489's were such pieces since new after about 5 hours of riding all 4 had tubes, Ill never give them any more of my money, The devils are just flat out bad a$$ in the dirt

I Just got my Dirt Devils 2 weeks ago and I really like them. They are so much better than the 489's. They hook up much better and the mud performance is like night and day. BTW. A group of us are going to Haspin on Saturday Todd400. If interested let me know chasingtime@yahoo.com

If you are looking for a tire that will flat out smoke the 489s and Dirt Devils, go with the 589AT. I have ridden all three (489, DD, 589AT) and the 589AT is the best tire. Granted...the big lugs are bumpy at slow speeds, but they more than make up for it doing everything else! Your best choice is what ever you feel fits your needs, but if you ride the nasty stuff like I do, the 589s are the way to go!
Just my 2 cents.

Bandits XC are the way to go!!! They are 6ix pky kevalar belted. (Kevlar is used to make bullet proof vests) They will never pop!!!! They also give excellent traction in the dirt as wel as soft stuff!!!
