Bent axle
#1
I have a 2000 scrambler 2x4, and I noticed that the rear axle is bent, does anyone no if this is a common problem with the sports, I haven't really jumped that high, no more than two or three feet,But I did sideswipe a tree and bent the rim, maybe it was that I don't know. Will it hurt to ride it like that or do I need a new one,I have seen the prices of the new one they are very expensive, are the Dura Blue's worth the money,or is there a cheaper one? Thanks for your input.

I ahve a bent axle onmy honda, from someoen rear ending me, and I didnt have to buy a new one, I took it to the dealor and he had a hot axle press, which heats up the axle to make it soft, then rebends it, when it was bent it was unstable at high speed, and I was afraid i needed a new one but i didnt, How did u notice the dent axle, was it from riding, or did u see it while looking at the back, if you didnt notice it when riding dont bother fixing it, and im 99% sure htta u bent it by hitting a tree, its pretty hard to bend an axle from jumping, especially only a few feet.
Chris I hope that helped1
